Chantal first encountered yoga as a teenager and quickly realized its energizing and beneficial qualities. After exploring many styles of yoga, she found herself drawn to the Iyengar- influenced practice because of its exceptional meditative and calming effects upon the mind.
Passionate about the mind-body connection, Chantal maintains the tradition of yoga in her everyday life. Her teaching brings a genuine love of yoga, served with a soothing presence, and meditative ease.
Chantal is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and has completed the Advanced Studies Program with Kate Coughlin, Director of Downtown Yoga, in Pleasanton, California.
She has been teaching yoga since 2010 to students of all levels and physical conditions with an emphasis on yoga as therapy, particularly with senior citizens. Chantal actively furthers her knowledge of yoga and the healing arts by regularly attending workshops. Teachers include Yoga Master H.S. Arun from India, the late Donald Moyer, Jason Crandell, Elise Miller, Judith Lasater, Kirsten Wilkinson, and Sue Hitzmann.
Chantal is also a Certified Hand and Foot Instructor of the MELT Method (Myofascial Energetic Length Technique).
